The Diet Solution Program Review – Does the DSP Diet Deliver?

Thanks for checking out The Diet Solution Program review I’ve written up here. Let’s cut to the chase. You’re in the same boat I’ve been in a few times in my life – you’re looking to lose weight. I don’t know how much you’re trying to lose, but the fundamentals are the same. Losing 5 pounds involves the same approach as losing 50 pounds. The only difference is repetition of those same principles and the amount of time it may take you. This is exactly what The Diet Solution Program, written by Isabel De Los Rios and Jeff Siegel, aims to do for you.

The Basics

De Los Rios and Siegel came up with the DSP diet book with one main goal in mind: offer you a weight loss plan that not only works, but won’t put your body at risk. Fad diets like Atkins, cleanses, and other types really do put your body at risk since you’re depriving yourself of nutrients that the body needs. This program will offer you a safe weight loss blueprint that doctors will agree doesn’t pose any threats.

More specifics about The Diet Solution Program’s tactics here.

One of the biggest strengths of The DSP is Isabel De Los Rios’ emphasis on the fact that different people have different metabolisms. What one person decides to eat on a diet may be effective for them and not for someone else. Because of this, there are different meal plans and recipes for all kinds of body and metabolism types. Right after you buy the product, you’ll be given a questionnaire to fill out that determines which of the three metabolic types you are. Then you’ll be given a 6 week meal and snack recommendation plan with lots of different natural and organic food ideas, specifically tailored to your body type.

How Much Weight Can You Lose From The Diet Solution Program?

This is obviously the question you’ll ask of anything before you get started. The aim of The Diet Solution Program is to help you lose about 2 pounds for every week spent on the plan.

Here are some before and after pics of people who followed the diet.

This may not seem like a ton of weight, but there are three things to keep in mind:

  • This is actual body fat you’ll be losing as opposed to water weight, and you’ll be doing it safely. Doctors wouldn’t recommend losing anything more than this.
  • Numbers like these also add up pretty quickly after a few months.
  • It’s so much easier to follow than other diet plans. You’ll be living through each day without feeling like you’re starving yourself.

The other cool thing about this book is the fact that Jeff Siegel and Isabel De Los Rios put their money where their mouth is and offer a 60-day no questions asked money back guarantee. If you do follow the advice given in The Diet Solution Program, I can’t see you needing that refund but it’s always good to know it’s there.

Hopefully this answered any questions you had about the DSP diet. If you do have any that I haven’t answered, feel free to leave a comment here and I’ll get back to you within a day or two.

Foods to Avoid When Trying to Lose Weight

Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. In the case of dieting, lack of knowledge is purely the enemy. Unbeknownst to them, far too many people trying to lose weight end up eating foods that they never even realized were bad for them. Which foods are we speaking of here? While I could go on forever with an endless list of things to avoid, here are some of the most common diet killers that people simply don’t think of that way.

Bagels

Even though they’re low in fat, bagels are extremely high in calories. The density of dough is far more so than that of ordinary bread, and people easily opt for bagels with low fat cream cheese, thinking they’re doing right by their bodies. This isn’t the case. Avoid bagels, and if you must get your fix, make sure you scoop your out. Doing this will dramatically lower the caloric intake.

Diet Sodas

This is probably something that doesn’t make logical sense to you. After all, how can something that’s essentially calorie free hurt you in any way? The answer is a bit more complex than the caloric values. Many recent research studies have concluded that diet soda plays a major role in weight gain. How does it do this? The chemicals in these drinks trick the brain into craving more sweet foods, which ends up resulting in the binge eating we so often despise. Stay away from these drinks and go for something healthier like water.

French Fries and Other Potatoes

It may seem obvious that french fries should be avoided, but they happen to be one of the worst foods possible when it comes to weight gain. They’re so much richer in calories than you imagined, and they’re extremely easy to eat. This is what truly makes them so dangerous. The same can be said about other potato forms like mashed potatoes and potato chips. If you must have one, opt for a baked one and hold off on the butter.
